Released by CBS Records in 1976. Legalize It was Winston Hubert McIntosh's aka 'Peter Tosh's' debut album. Former lead guitarist of The Wailers. This solo debut album was a really big success for Tosh, after playing with The Wailers for years. The title track attracted endorsers of marijuana legalization groups, reggae music lovers and Rastafarians all over the world, and was a favorite track at Tosh's concerts. As Marley preached his 'One Love' message, Tosh criticized the hypocritical 'shitstem.' Tosh formed his solo project with members like Rita Marley, Carlton Barret, Robbie Shakespeare, Bunny Wailer and more. Don't judge an album by it's cover!
